Immanuel Academy Conducted a Teachers’ Meeting after the First Term

Right before Thanksgiving break, the Immanuel Academy teachers gathered for a productive meeting. The session began with a warm welcome for the new teacher and staff members, followed by a reflective discussion on the strengths of their current practices as well as areas for improvement.

The teachers then turned their focus to planning for the upcoming second term. Several exciting activities were planned for different age groups, including field trips tailored to each class. In particular, the 3rd and 4th grade students will participate in a spelling bee competition, with top performers being recommended to represent the school in the district-level test scheduled for March.

Additionally, a Science Fair for grades 3-7 and an all-school art project are on the agenda for the next term. Teachers also revisited the “100 Books Reading Project,” with plans to add more missionary biography books to the reading list.

Another important topic of discussion was fostering a habit of service among students. Teachers are working on creating more opportunities for students to serve both at school and at home, encouraging them to develop a heart for willing service.

With these plans in place, the teachers are excited for the new term and are eager to see how God will continue to work in the school!
