On March 15, Immanuel Academy STL hosted a productive math teacher meeting, marking the formation of a new math group with the addition of Mr. Pan as the latest math teacher. This addition has enhanced the mathematics department at Immanuel Academy, furthering its commitment to academic excellence.
Teacher June Zhang has been appointed as the leader of the math/science group, tasked with ensuring the stability and strength of the math curriculum and extention program. This initiative aims to provide students with a solid foundation in mathematics and science education.
In first meeting, they reviewed the math progress of each grade and discussed important teaching considerations, such as balancing the cultivation of students’ study habits, classroom discipline, and the acquisition of textbook knowledge. They also talked about the need to expedite the completion of lagging courses so that there is ample time during the summer break to schedule other activities. A rough plan for summer remedial classes was also made.
