Ms. Michelle Myers, the lead teacher for grades 1-2, gave a wonderful science class on Body Organs Study. She used torso models which she brought home from a friend to introduce and demonstrate the function of each organ.
She also integrated the idea of God’s creation into the classroom. The students marveled at God’s creation and design of the human body. “Every part has a function and every part is important” is their discovery and confession.
Through this class, the children learned more about their own bodies and learned how to take better care of their bodies.
