In a proactive move to enhance campus safety, teachers at STL Immanuel Academy participated in a full day of First Responder Training on February 16, 2025.
The training, led by certified emergency response professionals, equipped faculty members with essential skills in CPR, basic first aid, emergency communication, and crisis response protocols. Educators also practiced scenario-based drills, preparing them to react swiftly and confidently in real-life emergencies.
The initiative reflects a growing trend among schools nationwide to prioritize emergency preparedness, ensuring that teachers are not only educators, but also frontline responders in urgent situations.
